In the second episode of our Heart of the Operation series, we talk to Kirti Patel, National Clinical Specialist, and Area Clinical Manager for perfusion at SpecialtyCare. We discuss the history of perfusion schooling from its early beginnings in the 1960s through today. We also explore what lead to a lot of perfusion schools shutting down and how Kirti started a perfusion school to help reverse that trend.
